Our recommendations for
Painting
- Start painting cornices only when adhesive/filler is dry to the touch.
- Use water-based or acrylic paints for all DAS cornices.
- For bathrooms and kitchens with higher moisture levels, use water-based ENAMEL paint.
- Avoid solvent-based paints, primers and enamels as they are corrosive on polystyrene.
Cutting
- Our cornices are easily cut with a fine-toothed panel saw or hacksaw.
- For the best precision cutting, ask the hardware retailer about our DAS mitre box.
- Do not attempt cutting the cornices with a hot wire mechanism!
